“When Europeans meet Danes”
The book is a result of a number of informal and formal discussions, e-mail correspondence, friendships and working hours contributed by five women from diverse national backgrounds. Our motivation to work on this e-book derives from our adventures, experiences, joys and challenges abroad.
The original idea of collecting life stories of EU citizens was born in the aftermath of the “Freemovers in Denmark” project exam at the Roskilde University in January 2008.
Alexandra Cervini, Efthymia Georgiou, Ginka Rinkova, and Kirsi Varsa have contacted our participants, done the interviewing, transcribing and editing work.
In December 2008, Mette Weber became Kirsi’s mentor via Kvinfo’s mentor program and soon after she joined the team bringing the project life again. We have all contributed in the writing process at various stages. Mette has held the role of editor.
